The Village of Deposit is celebrating its 200th Birthday and a weekend celebration is in the works for August 13th and 14th. Many activities are planned for the weekend, a Victorian Tea, old time photography, local crafters/artists, bands, food, exhibits, historic hayrides through the Village, historic guided tours to our Revolutionary War Cemetery and the State Theater will be hosting a Victorian fashion show. Residents and visitors are encouraged to dress in the attire of the 19th century. The Village will have blue laws enforced for the weekend and violators will be put in the stockade! A parade and fireworks are also on the agenda.
